Arnaud Kalimuendo has shown his potential with Rennes.
Nottingham Forest are believed to have agreed terms with Rennes for striker Arnaud Kalimuendo amid a sudden transfer flurry.
Forest confirmed the signings of Omari Hutchinson and James McAtee on Saturday for a combined cost of £67.5 million and it is claimed that Kalimuendo was arriving next for a City Ground medical. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that a fee has been set up of €31.5m, which is about £27m.
Nuno Espírito Santo won't stop there and is also continuing to pursue deals for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz and versatile Manchester City prospect Rico Lewis.
Kalimuendo has been with Rennes for three years since joining from Paris Saint-Germain. He played for France at the Paris Olympics last summer b
