STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — As one of the borough’s major roadways, the quality of driving on the Staten Island Expressway can range anywhere from mundane to outright dangerous.

Some drivers even have the unique ability to make the dangerous seem nonchalant.

Video recently provided to the Advance/SILive.com shows exactly that, as a dash cam captured the reckless behavior of one driver.

On Monday, July 29, around 7 p.m.,as other traffic is able to merge safely, a silver minivan is seen in the exit lane for the Victory Boulevard exit on the Brooklyn-bound side of the Staten Island Expressway.

As the exit lane becomes an exit ramp, the minivan driver continues straight ahead over the painted divider.
