CROSSLAKE — The Crosslake Art Club hosted their 40th annual art show Aug. 7-9, with record crowds attending the free event at the Crosslake Community Center.
Each day of the show, visitors vote for their favorite piece of art. Following are this year’s winners:
Day One: Amy Hubbard, of Merrifield, with her large 60x48-inch acrylic-on-canvas painting, “Lakeview.”
Day Two: Kathi Mann, of Pequot Lakes, with an acrylic-on-wood 34x22-inch painting, “Chris Craft.”
Day Three: Mary Wolke, of Crosslake, for “Family Affair,” a 36x24-inch canvas acrylic painting.
This activity was made possible through a grant from the Five Wings Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation.
