WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WSIL) -- A woman was arrested in Herrin after law enforcement said she had drugs in her vehicle during a traffic stop.

Williamson County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kassie Pope on August 13, during a traffic stop in Herrin after K9 Bara searched the vehicle.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said a search revealed more than 38 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and packaging materials. The sheriff's office also said Pope is under investigation by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit for methamphetamine distribution.

Pope, who often uses the alias "Tennant," was driving with a revoked license, the sheriff's office added.
