KETCHUM, Idaho — Road crews are responding to minor mud and rock slides on Salmon River Road in the Salmon-Challis National Forest.
According to the U.S. Forest Service - Salmon-Challis National Forest , the slides have occurred along Salmon River Road #030, though the route remains passable for travelers. Forest Service officials are urging motorists to reduce speed and exercise caution while passing through the affected area.
"Please slow down and use caution when traveling in this area and give the road crew room to work," the Salmon-Challis National Forest stated.
The forest service road crew is actively working to clear the debris and ensure passage for vehicles. No timeline was provided for completion of the cleanup work.
