MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man has allegedly robbed a woman overnight on Sunday, leading to several of her possessions being stolen.

At 12:40 a.m., MPD responded to a robbery call on the 5100 block of Shady Grove Road.

The caller was a woman who told officers that her daughter was robbed at gunpoint around 12:26 Sunday morning.

The victim said that she had just arrived home, and as she was getting her belongings out of the backseat of the vehicle, an armed man came from behind some bushes and approached her.

According to MPD, the suspect is a black man who was wearing a black hoodie with white writing on the front. He also had on brown pants and black and white shoes.
