CARMEL -- Crews from several towns battled a fire late Saturday night that destroyed a home in Carmel.
According to the Carmel Fire Chief, Michael Azevedo, crews responded to a residence on the Fuller Road around 11:30 p.m., with heavy fire showing from the house.
Carmel's Fire Chief says two people were home at the time but nobody was injured.
The blaze took hours to contain, causing damage to the first and second floor and water damage in the basement.
Chief Azevedo says the house is a total loss.
