FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WBOY) — Fairmont Senior High School hosted its second annual Meet the Polar Bears block party today at East-West Stadium, where the community could come out, meet the teams and band, and get excited for the fall high school sports, including cheerleading, cross country, football, marching band, soccer, and volleyball.
The event included food trucks, a raffle, and some bake sales and school apparel sales to raise money for the teams. 12 News spoke to a number of Polar Bears who said they appreciate the community support and look forward to the season.
