JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - A 36-year-old Laurel man turned himself in Sunday night in connection to a ‘road rage’ shooting earlier in the day that sent a man and woman to the hospital.

Malcolm Lyles was booked into the Jones County Adult Detention Facility at 7:14 p.m. Sunday.

Ellisville Police Department Investigator Kyle Pickett said Lyles had been developed as the lead suspect in the shooting that happened just outside the city limits in Jones County.

The incident took place late Sunday afternoon, around 4:30 p.m.

Pickett said that the incident began inside the Ellisville city limits between a “group of bikers” and a man driving a pickup truck.
