RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – It's a major win for Ruidoso after officials from XTERRA say this weekend went better than expected. For the first time ever, Ruidoso hosted XTERRA, and it went so well that event officials say the 2026, 2027, and 2028 world championships will take place there as well.

The event drew over 450 people this weekend.
