NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Thunderstorm chances will continue into this upcoming week. Drier weather will start moving in on Wednesday.

Isolated to scattered showers and storms popped up across New Mexico on Sunday afternoon. Heavy rain fell over the Ruidoso area burn scars, bringing more flash flooding this afternoon. It's also been another hot day across the state with high temperatures hovering above average for many areas. Showers and storms will decrease through the overnight.
