NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – After a busy weekend of arrests, the Santa Fe Police Department is highlighting its use of technology and nearly full staffing to apprehend a man with multiple warrants. Twenty-four-year-old Isaac Barela is no stranger to Santa Fe police; he has been arrested several times in the past.
This weekend, officers caught up with him again. Santa Fe police report that Barela has five outstanding warrants, which range from shoplifting to possession of a firearm as a felon, as well as violating the conditions of his release from a recent arrest, one of which is a federal warrant.
