Emergency road work closes lane on I

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Emergency road work forced the closure of a lane on Interstate 84 eastbound in Hartford on Monday morning.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the maintenance was happening between exits 44 and 46.

It said the left lane was closed.

The work was reported around 3:40 a.m.

There was no word on what caused the maintenance to be necessary.
