SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) - A man was arrested for dumping tires on a property in South Windsor.

Police said they charged 62-year-old Robert Caron of East Hartford with littering on private property and second-degree criminal trespass.

According to police, they received a report on Aug. 16 from a property manager for open space located behind the Plaza at Buckland Hills.

The report said a man, later identified as Caron, drove a white cargo van onto the property and dumped tires.

Police said they were able to get the van’s license plate through security cameras.

Caron was later picked up by police in Manchester.

He was given a $5,000 bond and given a court date of Sept. 3 in Manchester.
