SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) - Two women were arrested for trying to steal carts full of merchandise from Target in South Windsor.

South Windsor police said 29-year-old Tracey Biggs of Hamden and 24-year-old Jammi Neely of New Haven were charged.

Officers said they responded to the store on Buckland Hills Drive on Aug. 15 for reports of a larceny in progress.

When they arrived, they said they found that two women had run in different directions.

Both were caught, however.

Police said Biggs’ cart had nearly $1,150 worth of merchandise in it. Her bond was set at $25,000.

Neely’s had about $900 worth of items in it. She also was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, police said. Her bond was set at $75,000.

Both were given court dates of Sept. 3 in Manchester.
