PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Management with Care New England said that Butler Hospital and striking union workers have reached a tentative deal.
This is according to a brief joint statement from Butler Hospital and the union’s bargaining committee.
The strike has been ongoing for over three months .
Hundreds of union workers initiated the strike over what they called unfair labor practices, insufficient wages and a lack of safeguards against workplace violence.
Butler Hospital said that more information will be released in the coming days.
The union would need to vote on the contract for it to be ratified.
