ESKO, Minn. (Northern News Now) - For over 60 years, Northlanders have been celebrating the annual Lakehead Harvest Show.
The three-day show is filled with family friendly activities like a petting barn, a train ride for kids and a daily parade.
Among the activities are blacksmithing, sawmilling, shingle making and more.
Ryan Hansen, spokesperson for the show, has been attending the event his entire life. He said that his mom has a photo of him at the show when he just just 6 months old.
Though the event is fun for all ages, Hansen said that the show is about preserving history.
“This event is all about keeping the past alive,” he said. “Showing what we did with steam 100 plus years ago, how things were done, how we transitioned from hand tools, to tractors to the modern stuff we have
