Windsor Regional Hospital is rebranding.
More than 30 years after its inception, the hospital is changing its name.
David Musyj, former hospital CEO and current special advisor to the mega-hospital project, said the new name — which has not yet been chosen — will better identify the facilities and services Windsor Regional provides in the community.
The rebrand is “going to take about a year to complete,” Musyj told reporters on Aug. 12 after news of a massive donation to the new health care facility and the unveiling of its name: The Fancsy Family Hospital.
The rebranding process, he said, will launch this fall and will “engage a significant amount of people in the community,” including hospital staff.
