Kathy Borrelli might be new to federal politics, but she’s no stranger to rolling up her sleeves.
Windsor-Tecumseh-Lakeshore’s newest representative has built a decades-long career around giving others a leg up — whether as a pediatric nurse, an entrepreneur, or a program manager helping people with disabilities find work.
That experience, she said, has prepared her to hit the ground running for her constituents when Parliament resumes in September.
“The job is no cakewalk,” Borrelli told the Star. “I’ve always been a hard worker but this job is huge. It’s so important and I understand the responsibility that’s on me.
“I’m working as hard as I can.”
