BEREA, Ohio (WJW) -- The Cleveland Browns have signed wide receiver Isaiah Bond, an undrafted rookie who played for the University of Texas in 2024, days after he was cleared of sexual assault charges.

The team waived long snapper Brent Matiscik to make room on the roster, according to a Monday news release.

Bond, 21, earlier this year was charged with sexual assault in Texas, reported The Associated Press in April. He claimed the allegations against him were "false."

Grand jurors in Collin County, Texas, last week returned a no bill in the case, meaning they decided there was not enough evidence to prosecute, ESPN reported. The decision "concludes the criminal proceedings" against him, District Attorney Greg Wil
