MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A second human case of the West Nile Virus has been reported in Shelby County, the Shelby County Health Department said Monday morning.

According to the department, the first case was reported in March and the second case was reported last week.

In response to the two West Nile Virus cases, the health department will conduct a truck-mounted spraying of FDA-approved insecticides in 32 Shelby County zip codes where the virus was detected.

Here is a list of the 32 positive zip codes.

The department said they urge residents to protect themselves by wearing insect repellent that contain DEET anytime they are outdoors.
