Bradford Man Faces Felony Assault and Endangerment Charges Following Infant’s Death

A Pennsylvania man has been charged with multiple felonies, including aggravated assault, following the death of his two-year-old son, who was found unresponsive at a residence on Sherman Street early Thursday morning.

District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that City of Bradford Police have charged Tyler Prescott with assault, and additional charges are likely to be filed pending the results of an autopsy.

Police and EMS were dispatched to a home at 60 Sherman Street on August 14th for an unresponsive infant. The child was pronounced deceased at Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC). An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
