Following Hurricane Erin, Forecasters Track Fernand and Potential New Storms

Tropical Storm Fernand emerged in the Atlantic on Saturday just days after Hurricane Erin churned through the region. Forming north of the Leeward Islands, Fernand is expected to track east of Bermuda, bringing rough seas but no direct threat to the U.S. Meanwhile, forecasters are closely monitoring additional tropical waves that could develop in the coming weeks, with potential impacts from the Caribbean to the U.S. Southeast.
