LINCOLN PARISH, La. (KNOE) - A multi-agency investigation resulted in the arrest of two men in Lincoln Parish who are accused of selling drugs.

Michael Talbert, 40, and George Trantham, 43, were arrested on Aug. 15.

LPSO said officers found more than two pounds of methamphetamine and multiple firearms, including a sawed-off shotgun and a stolen firearm.

“These arrests send a clear message: we will not tolerate the distribution of dangerous drugs or the possession of illegal firearms in our communities,” said Lincoln Parish Sheriff Stephen Williams.
