A woman has been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred in Orange County earlier this August.

On Aug. 2, the Orange County Sheriff's Office responded to a call in the 4000 block of Norwich Road and found a man in his 30s with gunshot wounds.

The victim, Javore Tyleek Bentley, 32, was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Since then, deputies have been searching for a possible shooter.

On Saturday, the OCSO said they arrested Amber Shinice Dozier, 32, in Alachua County in connection with the case.

She was charged with second-degree murder with a firearm, according to deputies.
