AUBURN, Ala. (WKRG) -- Former Saraland High School football star and Auburn freshman Antonio Coleman has been suspended indefinitely due to a violation of team rules, Tigers head coach Hugh Freeze said on Monday.
While at Saraland, Coleman was an All-State first team selection twice and ranked nationally as a top-20 defensive line prospect. He recorded a career 153 tackles, 53 TFL, 10 sacks and scored three touchdowns for the Spartans.
Coleman arrived to the Plains in January of 2025 -- part of Auburn's top-10 ranked recruiting class.
Auburn held their second preseason scrimmage this past weekend. The Tigers open the season against Baylor on Friday, August 29th.
