Jackson police have identified a woman wanted in a recent shooting that happened August 3, on Northside Drive.

According to PIO Tommie Brown, on August 3, at 12:43 pm, officers responded to a shooting into an occupied vehicle. It happened on Northside Drive near Country Club.

The caller said she saw an individual shooting from a vehicle at someone in another vehicle.

During the shooting, one of the projectiles struck the windshield of the complainant’s vehicle and exited the rear glass.

After an extensive investigation, Jackson police identified the shooter as 25-year-old Ladavia Scott, a resident of Jackson.

On August 11, warrants were issued for Scotts arrest for the following charges: Drive by Shooting, Aggravated Assault and Shooting into An Occupied Vehicle.
