JACKSON CO., Iowa (KWQC) - A driver was killed after overcorrecting into a ditch, causing the car to rollover and crash.
According to a media release, at 6:30 a.m. Sunday deputies came to a single car crash on Highway 52 near the intersection of Highway 64.
Investigators found a Chevrolet Malibu was traveling southbound when it crossed over the centerline.
Officials said the 38-year-old driver of the Chevrolet overcorrected and went into the ditch where the car hit a culvert and rolled. The car rested on its roof.
The 38-year-old driver from Bellevue, Iowa, was found dead at the scene. Officials said the name of the person is being withheld pending family notification.
