HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Officials say a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning a paving project on Carter Road, also known as KY 2698, in Owensboro that will result in just over a half mile of roadway being blocked Tuesday morning.

The KYTC says Carter Road is scheduled for resurfacing between Keller Road at the 0 mile marker and Winning Colors Way at the 0.6 mile marker between the hours of 4 a.m. and noon on Tuesday.

Officials note both directions of the roadway will be blocked during this project.
