Metro Nashville Public Schools confirmed that Glencliff High School went into a lockdown briefly at the request of the Metro Nashville Police Department.

MNPD reported that units were called to a nearby address to investigate a “strong-armed robbery,” and that gunfire may have occurred.
The suspect was apprehended and taken into custody.
The high school resumed its regular schedule for the remainder of the day.
