EUGENE, Ore. - According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, new right-hand turn traffic signals are being installed this week at the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Beltline Highway to enhance safety.

This project aims to protect pedestrians and bicyclists by managing traffic flow more effectively, ODOT officials said. The traffic signals will be turned off at 8 p.m. on Aug. 20, with flaggers directing traffic. Construction noise and delays are expected, but the signals should be operational by the morning of Aug. 21. Drivers are urged to be cautious and watch for workers in the area.
