PORTLAND, Ore. — A woman accused of injuring two LIFT Paratransit employees with a knife earlier this month pleaded not guilty to all charges at an arraignment hearing Monday morning.
Princess Ann Harris, 54, faces three counts of interfering with public transportation, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of harassment and one count each of menacing and second-degree assault.
Portland police reported Aug. 8 that they had received a call at around 11:30 p.m. the night before about a woman who was "causing a verbal disturbance" in a LIFT vehicle and refused to get off. LIFT is a rideshare service for people who cannot use regular public transit; it's a TriMet service but is staffed by contractors from Transdev rather than agency employees.
