The Pittsburgh Steelers have cut wide receiver Roc Taylor as part of a slew of moves, the team announced on Monday. Taylor had some flashes of talent throughout training camp, but has failed to develop enough consistency to try and earn a roster spot.

The Steelers signed Taylor as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis after the NFL Draft. He was in the team’s X-receiver competition to try and make the roster.

Taylor stood at 6-foot-2, 213 pounds at the NFL Combine and ran a 4.49 40-yard dash. He added a 30 1/2-inch vertical and a 10-foot-2-inch broad jump.

At Memphis, he had a productive final two seasons, posting over 900 yards in each season. In 2024, Taylor had 66 receptions for 950 yards while adding two touchdowns. 2023 was his best year, posting 1083 yards and four touchdowns
