Dor Turgeman looks set to join MLS outfit New England Revolution, according to reports. ‌

The Maccabi Tel Aviv striker has been strongly linked with Rangers this summer as Russell Martin looks to further strengthen his squad. ‌

It had been claimed that a fee had been agreed with the Ibrox club and Turgeman was thought to be keen on making the switch to Glasgow . ‌

However, with Hamza Igamane , Cyriel Dessers and Danilo still on the books, a space in Martin's squad never materialised, while funds raised by a sale would have helped in doing a deal for Turgeman.

Dessers has been linked with AEK Athens and Lille have seen a loan offer for Igamane knocked back.

One could yet leave before the end of the window, although the Turgeman ship appears to have sailed as far as Ranger
