LOGAN – The local Tri-Theatre Alliance has announced an all-star cast for its upcoming fall production of The Addams Family at the Ellen Eccles Theatre.

That show -- scheduled to run from Friday, Oct. 10 to Saturday, Oct. 18 – will boast a powerhouse group of performers who are veterans of previous productions staged by Music Theatre West, the Four Seasons Theatre Company and The Cache Theatre Company.

With music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, The Addams Family musical brings to life all the bizarre characters from the cartoons drawn by Charles Addams for the New Yorker Magazine for 50 years starting in 1938. Those cartoons also inspired a television show in the 1960s, a wildly popular series of films in the 1990s and the current series Wednesday streaming on Netflix.
