ST. ANN, Mo. -- A St. Louis man and a Troy, Illinois, man have been charged after allegedly stealing over $1,200 of product from a Menards in St. Ann.

According to court documents, Michael Jackson, 59; and Seth Blazedel, 22, allegedly took the merchandise from the store located at 11140 St. Charles Road on Aug. 3 around 11 a.m.

The general manager of the store told police both men came to the store twice that day and stole $1,280 in product. Jackson had fled from police after the theft in a Honda minivan, driving over 100 miles per hour and running multiple red lights.

Blazedel was arrested the same day of the theft, and Jackson was later placed in custody of St. Ann police officers outside the city.
