Police officers arrested a man and a woman in Miranda state for counterfeiting and marketing works of art. Carlos Cruz-Ten , one of the greatest exponents of kinetic and optical art, reported this Sunday the director of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc), Douglas Rico.

In an Instagram post, Rico explained that an investigation determined that the man dedicated himself to "studying the life and work of the master, detailing each of his works" and then imitating them and "marketing them as authentic."

He also indicated that the woman informed the victims that the works came from a paternal inheritance and that they "cost $90.000."
