A home was damaged in a Superior fire that sent one man to the hospital Friday night.

Mountain View Fire Rescue crews responded to a call around 9:42 p.m. regarding a structure fire in the 1900 block of Estabrook Way in southeastern Superior.

The man sent to the hospital sustained non-life-threatening injuries after inhaling smoke, according to a Mountain View fire social media post. A dog initially lost in the confusion was found and is in good condition, according to the post.

It was unclear whether anyone else was evacuated from the home or involved in the fire.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Lafayette Fire Department and Louisville Fire Protection District also participated in the response.

The full extent of the damages has not been determined, and an investigation is ongoi
