HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- With the 2025 season of Catacombs & The House of Lecter arriving in late September, attendees can expect to see some changes alongside new ownership.

Kevin Stich and Kevin Alvey have acquired the two haunted houses after the previous owner, Philip Wolter, died in a car accident in December 2024.

Stich said the duo have been in the haunt industry most of their adult lives.

"I had a long history in the haunted house industry with other attractions like The Haunted Hotel, Black Orchard, Fright Haven, Jail of Terror, Haunted Hydro, Oklahoma Asylum, Necropolis Underground, Oklahoma Asylum and Malice Manor," Stich said. "Kevin Alvey is the owner and operator of the world-famous Gore Galore just a short drive from the House of Lecter building."
