BUSHWICK — A FOUR-ALARM blaze tore through rowhouses at 273 Bleecker St. in Bushwick Friday night, injuring four firefighters and one resident, all with minor injuries, according to anNY. Crews from Engine 271, Ladder 124 and Battalion 28 encountered heavy flames on the rear of the first floor, which spread to adjoining buildings before the fire was brought under control at 10:22 p.m. Roughly 170 firefighters and EMS responded, deploying five hose lines to knock down the blaze.

The Red Cross is assisting displaced residents as fire marshals investigate the cause.
