WILLIAMSBURG — REVEL HAS ACTIVATED SmartKit Demand Response software at its Williamsburg Supercharging Hub, marking its fourth year of providing grid services in New York, according to Charged News. Developed by Logical Buildings, SmartKit shifts EV charging to reduce strain during peak hours while earning utility incentives.

The system helped Revel cut 250 kilowatts during June’s three power curtailment events, avoiding emissions from peaker plants and generating revenue. COO Paul Suhey said the hub “proves EV infrastructure can be a grid asset, not a strain.”
