BUSHWICK — BROOKLYN-BASED RISEBORO COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP, founded in 1973, is among several recipients statewide receiving grant money from Gov. Kathy Hochul, in conjunction with the close of National Farmers’ Market Week. This annual observance, celebrated during the first full week of August, recognizes the contributions of Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) programs around New York State, with Riseboro receiving $50,000. Gov. Hochul has awarded more than $1.12 million to 25 farmers’ market organizations throughout New York. Disbursed through Round 3 of the Farmers’ Market Resiliency Grant Program, this amount represents an increase of more than $870,000 over last year’s financial awards.
