RAYTOWN, Mo. (KCTV) - An 18-year-old has been sentenced to spend nearly 2 decades in prison after he pleaded guilty to a fatal armed robbery .
Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Monday, Aug. 18, indicate that Alvphonz K. Spotwood, 18, of Grandview, has been sentenced to spend 18 years in prison for his role in a fatal armed robbery.
Court documents noted that Spotwood pleaded guilty to one count of murder in the second degree and one count of armed criminal action on Monday.

A probable cause statement filed by the Raytown Police Department revealed that around 6:20 p.m. on April 7, 2024, law enforcement officials were called to St. Luke’s Hospital with reports that an
