CRAWFORD COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — A Fort Smith man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing his husband with screwdrivers, killing him, all while having a dispute about drugs in the woods of Crawford County.

A report obtained by 5NEWS said on Aug. 20, investigators heard radio traffic about a man that had died, and foul play was possible.

Investigators responded to a wooded area where people had been camping and found a man, later identified as Kevin Whitt, lying dead on the ground.

The report said Kevin's face, head, neck, and hands had blood on them, as well as trees and vines nearby. Additionally, two Phillips head screwdrivers were located on the left and right side of his body.
