Allen Park — Here are some observations from Day 15 of Detroit Lions training camp on Monday.
▶ The Lions held an indoor practice that was a bit more tame than usual, so this will be a lighter batch of observations. It started with several periods of individual work and one-on-ones before getting into 11-on-11.
▶ The highlight of the day was the Lions' pass rush, particularly blitzing linebackers. DaRon Gilbert had the first one of the day, working against the third team. Jack Campbell blitzed on two of three reps in the next team period, getting home on the first one for a sack but arriving a touch too late on the second.
Trevor Nowaske got home on quarterback Kyle Allen — running back Jacob Saylors missed the pickup, causing him to get an earful from running backs coach
