ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The AP named its preseason All-America teams Monday and several Bulldogs and one Yellow Jacket made the cut.
Bulldogs punter Brett Thorson was named to the first team defense. Thorson was named to the All-America second team last season.
Kicker Peyton Woodring was named to the second team offense and safety KJ Bolden and tackle Christen Miller were named to the second team defense.
Tech guard Keylan Rutledge was also named to the second team defense.
Ohio State safety and Mill Creek High School graduate Caleb Downs was also named to the first team defense. South Carolina defensive back and Eatonton native Jalon Kilgore was named to the second team defense.
