SHARPSVILLE, Pa. (WKBN) - About 12,500 athletes competed three weeks ago at the National Senior Games. One of them was from western Pennsylvania.
Anne White is a 95-year-old bundle of energy from Sharpsville. She brought home a gold medal and two bronze from the National Senior Games. She did it all while in pain, recovering from a fractured femur.
"My doctor said he doesn't know what else to do for me because I am functioning better than he is," Anne said.
"Grandma Anne" was a big hit at the games, with family and friends supporting her. Everyone rooting for her wore pink t-shirts.
"When you have family, you have everything. They were all for me," Anne said.
