INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) - An Independence man has pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm while under the influence of meth after it had allegedly been used to shoot at a homeless camp.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri announced on Monday, Aug. 18, that Dustin E. Talbot, a.k.a. “Chunky Dunker,” 40, has pleaded guilty to the illegal possession of a firearm.
In his plea, judicial officials indicated that Talbot admitted that he knew he had previously been convicted of a felony offense and that he had been under the influence of illicit narcotics while in possession of a firearm.

The Independence Police Department said that just after 1:35 p.m. on April 8, 2024, law enforc
