ELKHART, Ind. (WNDU) - Elkhart football has a motto for 2025: collect four.

“We’ve challenged them in other ways to make sure we are in a better situation than last year when it comes to our sectional because that’s a big boy 6A sectional at the end of the day, so that’s a big goal for us,” says head coach Travon Curry. “We want to take the next step, we want to win a sectional championship. Our ‘collect four’ goal is to win a sectional, regional, semi-state, and state. So, when I say ‘collect four,’ that’s one of our team goals. Collect four trophies at the end of the day.”

Postseason success is as important as ever for the Lions. Last season, they went 8-1 in the regular season, including a perfect record in conference as they won the NIC. But they lost their only playoff game.
