BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Police Department is investigating a death after discovering a person near a downtown parking garage.

Police in an Aug. 19 update confirmed authorities are investigating the death as suspected suicide. The investigation remains ongoing.

The investigation prompted afternoon traffic restrictions on Front Street between Capital Boulevard and 10th Street on Monday, Aug. 18.
